Complaints
If you have a concern or would like to resolve a complaint:
~ First contact the Naturopathic Doctor, inform them of your concern and seek to resolve it through discussions with them. Most matters can be easily remedied through open communication. If that does not prove to be satisfactory:
~ Contact the SANP Registrar by email or submit a full written summary of your concern by mail to:

We will follow up with you immediately upon receiving your complaint and you will be informed of the investigation and/or resolution process that will be carried out.

Responsibilities: To enhance communications internally within the SANP through email, website, newsletters and social media.
Professional Conduct Committee (2018-2020)
Committee Chair: Naomi Whelan
Members: Lynn Chiasson, Willow Langille and Jon Bablad
Responsibilities: To review, respond to and investigate written complaints received by the SANP and provide the Discipline Committee with their full report including whether or not the PCC deems it necessary that the DC take further action.

Responsibilities: To hear complaints moved forward by the Professional Conduct Committee and make recommendations to Council.
Quality Assurance (Examination/CE/Audit) Committee (2018-2020)
Committee Chair: Leisha Ferguson
Members: Katherine Cheah, Allison Fillatre, Christian Gleisberg, Joel Guillemin and Tim Mrazek
Responsibilities: To create and update exams as needed, regulate CE credits being submitted by members and execute random audits on CEs as well as practices of members.

Responsibilities: To establish accountability between the Accountant and Treasurer.
Legislative and Best Practices Committee (2017-2019)

Legislative Responsibilities: To review legislative documents and provide feedback, to be available for meetings with MLA if needed

Purpose: To focus on developing resources and promotional materials to encourage the growth of the profession within Saskatchewan. This membership committee will focus on supporting members to achieve healthy thriving practices and will be responsible for coordinating Naturopathic Medicine Week in Saskatchewan.
